FireClient 1.0 is available as a free Windows beta

FireClient 1.0 is available as a free beta for Windows 10 and 11. It pairs a launcher for Minecraft Java Edition with a Fabric in-game client for Minecraft 1.21.1.

Who it is for#

FireClient 1.0 is for players of Minecraft Java Edition on Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit). You need your own Minecraft Java Edition account to play online. It does not run on Bedrock, macOS or Linux.

What is in 1.0#

  • The launcher memory setting is passed to Java as the max heap, limited to a safe range.
  • The saves library shows each world's own icon, last-saved date and size.
  • The resource pack library has no delete action. Packs and worlds stay on disk through updates and uninstall.
  • The in-game client has a draggable HUD with eleven elements and three accent themes.

Known issues#

  • The installer is unsigned, so Windows may show a security prompt.
  • The in-game mod is built for Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric only. Other versions launch without it.

Planned#

A crosshair editor and cosmetics are planned but not built yet. They are not part of 1.0. The full version is planned for November 2026, and the early access and roadmap post explains how we will confirm the date.

Before you install#

The installer is unsigned, so read Is FireClient safe? How to check your download first and compare the SHA-256 of your file with the one on the download page when it is shown. Download only from this site or the official GitHub releases page.

After you install#

Open Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric and press Right Shift for the in-game menu, then follow the HUD setup guide. Later updates are listed on the news page.

Download FireClient or read the installation guide. Feedback and bug reports are welcome in the Discord.
