Everything here is in the current build. A few things are still planned and listed at the end.

HUD and in-game menu

Press Right Shift to open the menu. Drag HUD elements into place with the HUD editor. Positions, visibility and the sprint toggle are saved to config/fireclient/client.json. Three accent themes are included.

Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric, Java 21.

Mods and Modrinth

Discover and install mods, drop in your own jar files, switch installed mods on or off, and install curated packs for Performance, Visuals, Utility and PvP.

Worlds library

Browse local worlds with their own icon, last-saved date and size. Refresh, search and sort.

Memory you control

Choose a memory budget in the launcher. It is passed to Java as the max heap, limited to a safe range.

Your files stay put

The pack library has no delete action, and the installer and uninstaller leave your worlds and resource packs on disk.

Local skins

The launcher keeps an offline skin and the in-game mod applies it as a client-side player texture.

Host a server

Run a Paper server from the launcher. It shows Running once Paper reports ready. Router port forwarding is still up to you.

Other versions

The launcher starts other Minecraft versions too, but the in-game client only exists for 1.21.1 on Fabric.

Planned, not built yet: a crosshair editor and cosmetics.

Get FireClient.

The installer sets up the launcher. You need your own Minecraft Java Edition account to play online.

Release notes.

Release notes for the FireClient launcher and Fabric client.

A free Minecraft client and launcher in one install.

FireClient pairs a Windows launcher for Minecraft Java Edition with a Fabric client mod, so version management and in-game tools live in the same place. Looking for something else called FireClient? This site is about the Minecraft Java launcher and Fabric client for Windows.

Made for PvP and everyday play

Keep FPS, CPS, keystrokes, armor and effects on screen, drag each one where you want it, and save the layout to a simple config file.

Mods without the hunt

Search Modrinth from the launcher, install curated packs for Performance, Visuals, Utility and PvP, or add your own jars.

Your worlds stay safe

Updates and uninstalls leave your worlds and resource packs on disk, and the pack library has no delete action.

Open the menu anywhere

Press Right Shift in game to open the FireClient menu and change HUD options and the accent theme instantly.

Questions, answered.

A Windows launcher for Minecraft Java Edition with a Fabric in-game mod. The launcher handles versions, mods, worlds and resource packs; the mod adds the in-game menu and HUD.

The launcher can start other versions, but the in-game mod is built for Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric with Java 21. Other versions and loaders get the in-game features once a matching mod build exists.

We cannot promise any installer is 100% safe, so we do not. The beta installer is unsigned, so Windows will likely warn you. Only install from this site or the official GitHub releases page, and compare the SHA-256 in the Download section with your file when one is shown. A matching hash shows the file is the one we published; it does not prove it is free of malware, so scan it with Windows Security if you want another opinion. Read Is FireClient safe?, the License & Safety Facts and the Terms & Privacy notice first.

No. The installer and uninstaller leave your game-data folder in place, including worlds and resource packs. Back up important worlds before you change game files anyway.

Not yet. The in-game mod covers the menu, HUD elements, sprint toggle and accent themes. Those two features are planned.

No. FireClient is independent and is not endorsed by Mojang or Microsoft. Minecraft is a trademark of its owners.

Yes. The launcher and the in-game client are free to download and use. You need your own Minecraft Java Edition account to play online.

Press Right Shift in a Minecraft 1.21.1 Fabric world, or use the FireClient Menu button on the title screen. From there you can switch HUD elements on or off and change the accent theme.

It depends on your setup. Lunar Client supports Windows, macOS and Linux. FireClient is Windows-only for now, and its in-game client targets Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric with a built-in Modrinth mod manager. Read the sourced comparison: FireClient vs Lunar Client.

Yes. The launcher has a Modrinth browser, and a Library page for the mods you have installed with an on/off switch for each. See how to install Fabric mods from Modrinth on Minecraft 1.21.1.

Not yet. FireClient is for Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit) for now. macOS and Linux builds are not available.

The name is FireClient, written as one word, and people also search for it as Fire Client. It is not the same as the unrelated FireClient SMP mod on Modrinth or other Minecraft clients with similar names. This site, fireclient.net, is the official home of the FireClient launcher. Read what the FireClient mod is.

Use the FireClient download page on this site, or the official GitHub releases page. The installer is for Windows 10 and 11, and the page shows the current version, file size and SHA-256 when GitHub publishes one.

We have not published benchmarks, so we make no speed claims. The launcher lets you set memory and has a Performance page that lists optimization mods such as Entity Culling and FerriteCore with an on/off switch. For settings that usually help, see how to boost FPS in Minecraft 1.21.1 on Fabric.
